Payment Date Planner for Monthly Loan Schedules

Plan due dates from the rule in your agreement, especially when the starting date falls near month-end. The planner does not change a contractual due date because your payday or a bank holiday falls nearby.

Plan My Payment Dates

Set the contractual date rule

Choose the first due date, number of payments and frequency. For a monthly schedule, the original day of the month remains the anchor. The tool is a calendar model only; the date you open this page is not assigned as your first payment date.

See month-end adjustments

If the anchor day does not exist in a month, the model uses that month’s last day and then returns to the original anchor in the next month. Weekly and biweekly dates advance by seven and fourteen days. The twice-monthly model uses the 1st and 15th; it requires the first due date to match that convention rather than inventing a second date.

Compare with your income dates

Compare the exported dates with when your income will actually be available. If a due date comes first, ask the provider whether a different date can be agreed. A request is not an approved change. Keep existing dates until you receive confirmation.

Read bank-holiday limits

No holiday or bank-processing adjustment is applied automatically. A weekend due date may require an earlier payment initiation depending on the agreement and payment method. The calendar does not know your bank’s cutoff or whether a pending transfer will post in time.

Use the result to narrow real options

Save the schedule and verify it against the lender’s written dates. If the two differ, use the agreement while asking for clarification. The repayment schedule explains balances; this planner answers the separate calendar question.

Boundary Cases for Payment Date Planner for Monthly Loan Schedules

Normal: A monthly anchor of January 31, 2027 produces January 31, February 28 and March 31. Edge: In leap-year 2028, February becomes February 29; March returns to the 31st. Incomplete: No first due date means no dates are calculated. Error: A twice-monthly start on the 20th is rejected because it does not match this tool’s 1st/15th convention.
