Read the type of material before the claim
An advertisement records what a business promoted; it is not the publication’s recommendation of the product. A news item reporting sponsorship supports that event relationship, not a favorable assessment of every loan. An past promotion records rules visible at a capture date, not proof the promotion is still open.
Trace the original publication
The available information identifies Gonzales newspaper materials from 2013, 2017 and 2018, plus LoanLuv’s past newsletter rules. Follow print advertising, community activity and past promotions to keep each type separate. The April 2018 Gonzales Inquirer issue provides the concert-sponsorship reference. Check reproduction permissions
Publication dates and source links can be used to verify the record without republishing a whole newspaper or assuming permission for a photograph. The reference list preserves the original asset locations; a reachable URL is not a reuse license. No image is presented as a current customer testimonial merely because it appeared in past promotional material.
What to Know Before You Continue
A 2017 advertisement may support a dated claim about its advertised amount. It cannot support a current rate, today’s maximum or a present endorsement by the newspaper. The information is strongest when the date and material type remain visible.
