Report the page and the claim
Record the page path, heading and exact disputed statement. Add the source URL, document date and the replacement fact you believe is supported. For a calculator, use nonidentifying inputs and the result you expected; do not attach a bank statement, a full account number or a Social Security number.
Understand the review process
A claim should be compared with the exact product, entity, jurisdiction and period behind it. A newer general webpage does not automatically override an older executed agreement. A calculation issue needs a reproducible input set; a changed lender price needs updated provider information. Where the answer remains unresolved, the affected claim should be marked uncertain rather than quietly replaced with a guess.
See material corrections
Material corrections belong in a record showing the old statement, replacement, information and date of change. This delivery includes an internal change log and separate verification reports. It does not claim a staffed response channel or fixed resolution deadline that has not been established. Use contact information only after the responsible current channel is verified.
What to Know Before You Continue
Calculation example: Report the amount, nominal rate, term, fee mode and the precise output—not personal loan documents. Source example: Report a current provider’s amount conflict and both locations on its page. Not a correction: changing an updated date while leaving an unverified claim untouched.
